About

The idea

Two guys in their forties, high enough that everything is funny and still functional, playing Overwatch with whoever is online, and talking in the breaks between matches about the actual human condition: friendship, money, dads, dogs, dating, the jobs we don't love, the things we are building. A 2026 Beavis and Butt-Head with a conscience. Cruise stories. Life lessons. The occasional song.

Who it's for

Adults our age, mostly men, who game to stay connected to their friends and don't see themselves in streamers half their age. People who would show their wives this to prove gaming night isn't just sports talk.

The two hips

John and Dan. John is the analysis guy; Dan is the comedy guy. They trade.

The Square

The third seat. A rotating friend, sometimes the sober one, sometimes a guest with a story. "Am I the square tonight?" is a running bit.
